David Haye vs Mark de Mori to be shown on Dave

Dave Haye has confirmed his January 16 showdown with Mark de Mori will be shown on the free-to-air channel Dave.

With rumours surfacing that the fight could appear live on YouTube, Haye confirmed his fight will be shown on the channel.

Haye used his Twitter account to make the announcement on Wednesday morning – “Delighted to announce that my comeback will be exclusively live on @Join_Dave! Coverage starts at 9pm – make sure you tune in! #HayeDay”

Haye has teamed up with Goodwin Promotions to provide him with the undercards, although Billy Dib, who was set to be on the co-main event, had to pull out due to injury.

“It is with great regret that I announce I’ve been ruled out of my fight to an injury I suffered during training camp,” Dib said via ESPN.com. “Big thanks to all the amazing boxing fans in the UK. God willing I’ll be back soon.”

The undercard, provided by Steve Goodwin’s promotional outfit sees John O’Donnell vs. Shayne Singleton.

Also fighting on the bill is former British Champion Tony “Warrior” Dodson (31-8-1, 15 KOs) vs Richard ‘The Lionheart’ Horton in a light-heavyweight bout scheduled for eight rounds.

Kay Prospere, (6-0, 4 KOs) will face Lee Connelly in a junior welterweight contest.

Cruiserweight Wadi Camacho (15-5, 5 KOs) faces Jindrich Veleck. The much talked and exciting cruiserweight Jose Lopes (5-0, 5 KOs) faces Darren Snow.

Super bantamweight prospect Josh Kennedy (4-0, 4 KOs) will square up against Luke Fash.
