17-year old Milton Santiago Jr. in action tonight
VEGA BAJA, PUERTO RICO (APRIL 5, 2014)–TONIGHT, Undefeated and 17-year old phenom, Jr. Welterweight Milton Santiago Jr. will return to action as he will make his 4th start in 2 and one-half months when he takes on Luis Ortiz Molina (0-1) in a bout scheduled for four rounds.
The card, promoted by Fresh Promotions will be televised Live on DirectTV beginning at 9 pm ET.
Santiago of Warminster, PA has a record of 3-0 with two knockouts weighed in the same as his opponent which was 138 lbs.
Santiago is excited about fighting in his home away from home where he will have plenty of support.
“I am very excited to fight in front of my people where I will have a lot of family members,” said Santiago.
He is coming off a four round unanimous decision over 17-fight veteran William Lorenzo on March 14.
“I believe my last fight was a test. He came to fight and and I trained for that. I learned to not start out overly aggressive.”
Even though he had a long and distinguished amateur career, Santiago continues his on the job apprenticeship.
“I am getting better each day. Not only the training but my running and eating right.”
“I look forward to putting on a great show for my people,” finished Santiago.
