Canelo-Angulo LA press conference open to press tomorrow!

Tomorrow’s Los Angeles press conference announcing the Mar. 8 Showtime pay-per-view headlined by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs. Alfredo Angulo at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas will be open to the public.

The event takes place at the Los Angeles Central Public Library in the outdoor plaza & Cafe Pinot Restaurant. It will commence at 12:00 noon Pacific Time and will feature both Alvarez and Angulo as well as a number of the fighters on the televised pay-per-view undercard. Leo Santa Cruz and opponent Cristian Mijares will be in attendance, as well as Ricardo Alvarez, the older brother of Canelo that will be fighting Omar Figueroa. Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer and Showtime Sports executive vice president & general manager Stephen Espinoza will also be in attendance.

Alfredo Angulo will be receiving a special haircut as Angulo will donate his hair to the charity Locks of Love.
