Changes made for Dec 7th & 14th Cards!

Golden Boy Promotions has given us all an early Christmas gift it seems. Major changes have taken place to the end of the year schedule for Golden Boy Promotions and SHOWTIME. What was originally supposed to be three consecutive cards for Nov. 30, Dec. 7, and Dec. 14 will now be two as mentioned by Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer and SHOWTIME sports executive, Stephen Espinoza, on a media conference held in Atlantic City prior to the Bernard Hopkins/Karo Murat card.

One will be December 7th at Barclays Center that will feature 3 world titles at stake taking from the original November 30 card that was supposed to have taken place in San Antonio. The main card in Brooklyn will now look like this.

  • Paulie Malignaggi vs. Zab Judah
  • Austin Trout vs. Erislandy Lara (WBA Super Welterweight Title)
  • Devon Alexander vs. Shawn Porter (IBF Welterweight Title)
  • Sakio Bika vs.  Anthony Dirrell (WBC Super Middleweight Title)

The following week will be not be on PPV but rather FREE on SHOWTIME from the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Also with 3 world championships on the line and the return of Victor Ortiz!

  • Adrien Broner vs. Marcos Maidana
  • Keith Thurman vs. Jesus Soto-Karass
  • Leo Santa Cruz vs. Cesar Seda
  • Victor Ortiz vs. Alfonso Gomez
