Joshua Clottey dominates Anthony Mundine
Former welterweight titlist and Manny Pacquiao foe Joshua Clottey handed Anthony Mundine a humbling loss in front of his Australian fans on Wednesday night, earning a wide unanimous decision.
Clottey had only fought once in the past two years but was able to put Mundine on the canvas FIVE times en route to a 117-108, 116-108, and 115-109 win.
Mundine was coming off a dubious stoppage of future Hall of Famer Shane Mosley when the legendary fighter was unable to continue due to back spasms.
Mundine had long been targeting a fight with Floyd Mayweather, which was one of boxing’s best punch lines for years as the Australian mostly took on less than modest opposition.
It’s unclear where Mundine will go from here and whether he will retire, but Clottey’s career has certainly been rejuvenated a bit.

How disrespectful whoever wrote this
Talking about Australians and our supposed “less then modest opposition” we have had and have some of the toughest and most prolific boxers within its long history
Go through the history books and have a look even the one that we’re not born on our soil when they settle here and take our flag into the ring and fight out of our shores they are Australian
Rethink your content in the future
What about the fact that Mundine has charged $50 for PPVs in Australia to fight mostly unranked, undeserving fighters? Give me a list of five quality fighters Mundine has beaten in the last decade. It has nothing to do with Australian boxing, I have tons of respect for the region, especially the guys who actually test themselves against the best like Daniel Geale or Michael Katsidis have.
